Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American author, singer and actor best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career as a stage artist during the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Later, in 1956, she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway along with Li'l abner. In the year 1957, she made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film was praised widely as well as Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles opposed to her image as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director of popular television programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 28th August 1965, her family moved to Toronto when she was three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the role of lead.
